David Allen Quick

Mr. David Allen Quick, of Lawrenceville , GA passed away peacefully on December 19, 2018 in the presence of his loving family.

Dave was born to parents, John and Delores Quick, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Amsterdam, NY, on June 19, 1954. He was a 1972 graduate of Johnstown High School. After high school, he attended Rochester Institute of Technology where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and his Master’s Degree in Engineering. After working for several technology companies in the Rochester area, Dave moved to Atlanta in 1997 with AHT Systems. In his latter years, he was employed by Publix from 2006 until the time of his passing where he made many long lasting and close friendships.

He is survived by sister Candace (Ken), of Saratoga Springs, NY, brother Jeff (Karen), of Suwanee, GA, and a number of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly!  Dave also leaves behind several aunts, uncles, cousins, and an extended family in New York and the Atlanta area. 

A  Memorial Service for Dave will be held at Johns Creek Baptist Church, 6910 McGinnis Ferry Road, in Alpharetta, GA, at a later date to be determined.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Dave’s memory  to Johns Creek Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
