G. A. 'Jerry' Kitterman

G. A. (Jerry) Kitterman, 74 of Flowery Branch, GA, will be spending Christmas with Jesus this year.  He leaves behind a devastated family but not a family without Hope. We are a family that knows without any doubt that we will be together one day for all eternity. We have the promise of the Cross. But until then our faith will allow us to continue on through this temporary life - missing him so much every minute of every day.

Our Jerry was larger than life. He enjoyed life to the fullest. He loved Jesus, his family and his many nieces, nephews and loyal, dedicated friends.  Jerry leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, C.D. (Kay), and two sons, Bill (Tonya) and Larry (Brenda) waiting for the day they will be re-united.  His grandchildren and great grandchildren – Zachery, Christopher (Vanessa Goff), Kaytlynn (Danny Gossett), Tyleigh (Matt Lype), Cody (Krisztina) Cory, Allison, Brandon, Grecia, Parker, Bennett, Elizabeth Grace and Harper Rose, made his life complete.  He was the best Dad, Papaw, Uncle, friend, and Go-to man there was.  God allowed Jerry to live long enough to accept what Christ did for us on the Cross, and live out what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus to others.  We will all spend eternity somewhere (either Heaven or Hell).  Jerry witnessed to so many because he didn’t want anyone to leave this world without knowing Jesus, because Jesus is the ONLY way to Heaven.  We are not promised our next breath. The last thing Jerry ever thought when he left for that “short” motorcycle ride on the sunny afternoon of December 22, 2018, was that he would not be coming back to his beloved family.  II Corinthians 5:8   - Until we meet again my soulmate and forever love of my life. 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018, at 1:00 p.m., in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Ashworth officiating.  Interment will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., on Friday, December 28, 2018, at the funeral home.
