Patricia Diane Kimsey Dover

Patricia Diane Kimsey Dover, age 67 of Shady Lane, Toccoa passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of Clifford Shirley Kimsey and the late John T. Kimsey, she was born October 31, 1951 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived all her life. She was a homemaker and attended The Pointe Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Gary Dover and by her brother, Ronnie Kimsey.

Survivors include her mother, Clifford Shirley Kimsey of Toccoa; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stacy and Lisa Dover and Jeff and Alicia Dover both of Toccoa; grandchildren, Leslie, Jacey and Jentry; fiancé`, Eddie Thomason of Eastanollee; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny Kimsey of Augusta, Georgia; Danny and Kathy Kimsey of Eastanollee and Clifton and Debbie Kimsey of Toccoa; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mark and Jan Dover of Toccoa; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, December 28, 2018, 2 O’clock p.m. at The Pointe Church with The Reverend Dennis Rafala officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Mason Kimsey, Landon Kimsey, Paul Shirley, Gabriel Kellar, Billy Bennett and Brian Thomason.

The family will be at the home of the son, 585 Shady Lane and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Friday, 12:30 p.m. until time to leave for the service. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38105 or to the American Legion Post 104, 610 E. Doyle Street, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mrs. Patricia Dover.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Patricia Kimsey Dover.
