Daniel Jerome Maynard

Mr. Daniel Jerome Maynard, age 40 of Poplar Circle, Toccoa passed away Saturday, December 22, 2018 at the Stephens County Hospital.

He was born October 16, 1978 in St. Lucie, Florida where he lived most of his life and the last 14 years in Toccoa. He was employed as a Team Leader with Dewtex in Toccoa. He loved hunting and auto racing at Toccoa Raceway.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Stacey Yezek Maynard; two daughters of the home, Emily and Lauryn Maynard; step-son, Kyle; step-father, Robert Pylant of Ft. Pierce, Florida; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Joseph and Joan Yezek of Toccoa; three brothers, Robert Pylant of Alabama, William Henry Ritchey of Lumberton, North Carolina and Curtis Pylant of Wilmington, North Carolina; three sisters, Peggy Crouch and Elizabeth Black both of Ft. Pierce, Florida and Kimberleigh Moreno of Wilmington, North Carolina.

Memorial service will be Friday, December 28, 2018, 3:30 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Scott Collett officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 2 p.m. until the service time. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
