Julia Villeneuve Richardson

Julia Villeneuve Richardson, of Cumming GA, passed away on December 21, 2018 at age 92. She was born on August 24, 1926 in Hollywood, Florida, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Villeneuve, along with 6 brothers and sisters, Charles Villeneuve, Earl Villeneuve, Louise Linglebach, Joe Villeneuve, Eugene Villeneuve and Mildred White and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waymon.

Julia is survived by two sons, Tom Richardson, Dan Richardson and his wife, Diane; one daughter, Susan Bachelor and her husband, Mike. Also, her grandchildren Jenny Richardson, Kelley Richardson and Jacob Richardson and his wife Kathy and their son Carsen.

Julia and Waymon moved to Cumming in 1979. They became members of Cumming First United Methodist Church and the Bob Bowling Sunday School Class. They were active square dancers for many years and belong to the Lakeshore Squares in Gainesville. She worked for JC Penny for 25 years. Julia was much loved by her family and many friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 29, at 3:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers if you wish donations may be made to Union County Nursing Home Activities Department, 164 Nursing Home Circle, Blairsville, GA.
