Lou Oma Hood

Lou Oma Hood, age 88 of Stone Mountain, GA, died Tuesday, December 18, 2018 after an extended illness. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 21, 2018 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. Rev. Ernie Forrester will officiate. Lou Oma was preceded in death by her son, Greg Hood. She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Clarence Hood, Stone Mountain; daughter, Sheryl Skidmore (John), Lilburn; grandsons, Brian Skidmore, Flowery Branch, Philip Skidmore (Taylor), Flowery Branch; daughter in-law, Tina Hood, Harbins, GA; several nieces and nephews. Lou Oma was born in Jamestown, KY and lived in the metro Atlanta area since 1980. She was self-employed as a hearing aid specialist and a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church.
