Mrs. Linda Lou Kinsey Gibson, age 67 of King Street in Toccoa, Ga. passed away Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the home.
A daughter of the late Herbert Kinsey and Lizzette Pauline Moore Kinsey, she was born May 12, 1951 in Toccoa where she has lived all of her life. Mrs. Gibson worked for Camp Mikell in Toccoa for a few years and was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a member at Gateway Community Chapel in Toccoa.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Gibson of the home, three sons and daughters-in-law, John and Lisa Gibson and James and Reba Gibson all of Toccoa, and Roy Lynn Gibson also of Toccoa. step-daughter, Jane Thomas of Toccoa, two brothers, Herbert Lee Kinsey, Jr. and David Kinsey both of Toccoa, a sister, Charlene Kinsey Canady of Eastanollee, Ga., a niece reared in the home, Brenda Smith of Toccoa, eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and also by three additional nieces.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 11, 2018, 2:00 P.M., at the Gateway Community Chapel with The Reverend Don Scott officiating.
The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as the pallbearers, Joshua Fulbright, Dan Simmons, Randy Gibson, DeLeon Langley, Tevin Canady, and Otis Canady. Pallbearers, please meet at the funeral home by 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
The family will be at the home on King Street, Toccoa, and will receive friends at The Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday evening.
