Karen Elaine Savage Butler White

Karen Elaine Savage Butler White, age 49, of Gainesville passed away Monday, December 3, 2018.  Karen loved the mountains, the beach and music. Karen was a member of the girl scouts. She attended Jackson High School where she played basketball (#24), football and softball.   She is survived by her mother Ellene Joyce Savage; son Brian Butler and wife Savannah of NC; daughter Breana White of Lavonia; brothers Ricky Savage of Jefferson; sister Teresa Pitts and husband Rick of SC, Laurie Koslowski and husband Johnny of Maysville. 

She is preceded in death by her father Morris Lavaughn Savage and her twin brother John Savage.  Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Brian Butler will be officiating.  Interment to be held at Macedonia Community Baptist Church, 5507 Winder Hwy, Braselton, GA, 30517. The family will receive friends 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, December 7, 2018 at the funeral home.
