Remona Irene Tackett

Mrs. Remona Irene Tackett, age 71, of Gainesville, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her family.

Memorial Services will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Crossview Baptist Church in Hoschton.  Rev. Danny Ashworth will officiate.  She will be inurned next to her late husband in Oklahoma.  The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mrs. Tackett was born February 26, 1947 to the late Arlo Raymond & Ruth Marie Shandy in Billings, Montana.  She attended Crossview Baptist Church and retired from the Live Oaks School District in Santa Cruz, California, where she had been an Elementary School Teacher for 34 years.

Mrs. Tackett was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Dean Tackett; and her parents.  She is survived by her sisters, Arlette Shandy and Sharla Starr; step-children, James Tackett and Paula Brandaur; and several nieces & nephews.
