Earl Lockhart, age 85, of Sugar Hill, GA passed away Sunday, December 2, 2018. He is survived by his wife of

Fifty-seven years, Janice Lockhart, Sugar Hill, GA; Children, Jack Lockhart, Sugar Hill, GA, Jill Bales, Ohio, Jimmy (Jessie) Lockhart, Killeen Texas, Allison Shafiq, Buford, GA; grandchildren, Hannah and Andrew Irvin, Joshua Dailey, Kyle Dailey, James Sidney Lockhart; Brother, Jerry Lockhart, California; special dear friends, Pat and Kenneth Thrasher, Buford, GA. Mr. Lockhart was born December 19, 1932 in Portsmouth, Ohio.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and Air force, having served a total of ten years. He studied at Long Beach state college, Long Beach, CA. He was a longtime member of West Buford Baptist Church where he taught Sunday school.  A memorial Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018 at the West Buford Baptist Church. 1040 Shadburn Ave.  Buford, GA 30518 with Rev. Jerry McCormick and Rev. Arthur Southerland   officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to West Buford Baptist Church youth group
