Mrs. Betty Louise (Duffee) Butcher, age 80, of Clayton Georgia passed away Thursday, November 22nd 2018 the evening of Thanksgiving.
Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 8th, 2018 in the Chapel of Roswell First Baptist Church. Doug Duffee; Maurice Hilliard; Todd Robson will officiate/speak. The family will receive friends following the service in the same chapel for a short period of time after the service.
Mrs. Betty Louise (Duffee) Butcher was born October 9th, 1938 to the late Raymond Leon and Thelma Louise Posey Bonner of Birmingham, Alabama. She was a member of Hunter Street Baptist Church.
Betty is survived by her husband, Tomas Butcher of Clayton; Her son and daughter-in-law, Douglas G. and Barbara E. Duffee of Braselton; daughter, Debbie L. Duffee of Maysville, her stepdaughter and her husband Debbie & Toby Hammonds of Flowery Branch; grandchildren Mandy Barnette, Ashley Mann, Chris Duffee, and Kelli Hammonds; and great-grandchildren, Bailey and Brady Barnette.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations may be made to the Volunteer Fire Dept in Clayton as they need firefighting equipment and training and as like most volunteer departments are underfunded.
