Guy Andrew Vanpool, Sr.

Guy Andrew Vanpool, Sr., age 65 of Hoschton, GA, died suddenly Sunday, November 25, 2018. Mr. Vanpool has been cremated and a memorial service will be held Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Pastor Chad Logan will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family request contributions be made in memory of Guy to the ASPCA (aspca.org) or the American Heart Association (heart.org). Guy is survived by his wife, Shirley Vanpool, Hoschton; children, Kurt Vanpool, Guy Vanpool, Jr., Jennifer, Janet, Karrin; several grandchildren; sisters, Lucy, Dorothy, Roberta, Sandy; brother, Ralph Vanpool. Guy was born in Michigan and had resided the last 25 years in the metro Atlanta area. He was a Veteran of the United States Army, worked as a finance manager with Rome Finance, Inc. and attended Crosspointe Church, Hoschton.
