Steven D. Russell

Steven D. Russell, age 63, of Dacula, GA passed away Monday, November 19, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Douglas and Teresa Russell, and mother and stepfather, Azalean and Edward Dechau. He is survived by his wife of thirty-three years, Janet S. Russell, Dacula, GA; children, Jonathan and Carson Russell, Decatur, GA, Michael Russell, Athens, GA, Genevieve Russell, Mt. Pleasant, SC and granddaughter, Ayva Anderson, Mt. Pleasant, SC. Mr. Russell was born on May 24, 1955 in Lansing, MI.  He was a 1973 graduate of Henderson High School and received his Bachelor’s degree from University of Georgia. He retired from Eastside Medical Center, Snellville, GA in telecommunications. He was a member of the Fairview Presbyterian Church, Lawrenceville, GA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018, at time 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Presbyterian Church with Pastor Rob Sparks officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview Presbyterian Church, 857 Duluth Highway, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 30, at the funeral home.
