Barbara Austin Knox

Barbara Austin Knox, age 81, of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-six years, Robert “Bob” Knox. Mrs. Knox is survived by children, Robin Lynn and Andy Puckett, Buford, GA, Paula Jean Knox, Chattanooga, TN, Robert Anthony and Judith Marie Knox, Braselton, GA; six grandchildren, Christopher Anthony Knox, Maggie Marie Knox, Hunter Andrew Puckett, Drew Lynn Puckett. Heath Harold Bowman, William Logan Bowman; seven great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Knox was born on September 7, 1937 in Yorkville, TN. She was a graduate of Yorkville High School, class of 1955. Mrs. Knox was a member of Buford Church of Christ and she was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 23, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Mr. Jimmy Miller officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 20 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
