Lois Rosalyn Hauff

Mrs. Lois Rosalyn Hauff, age 97, of Buford, GA was escorted into Heaven by God’s angels (Luke 16:22) on Tuesday, Nov 20^th, 2018. A selfless, dedicated and abundantly loving Christian and mother, mother-in-law, grammy and wife, she was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Roy Hauff. She is survived by her daughter and son in-law, Karen and Wade Andrews, Buford, GA and granddaughter Amanda Andrews, Atlanta, GA. Being born Dec 26, 1920 in Flint, MI, she was approaching her 98^th birthday next month. She will now enjoy that birthday in our Father’s house in the place that Jesus has prepared for her (John 14:2).

Mom’s greatest pleasure was spending time with family, friends and in Sunday worship services. Our memories of her include her numerous tales of funny celebrations and sentimental experiences. She enjoyed travel adventures, beach getaways, Lake Lanier cruises, watching Michigan football games and joyful family dinners. She loved entertaining, cooking and celebrating and decorating for the holidays. She delighted in preparing a variety of favorite recipes, as well as sewing many wonderful crafts and outfits. She created a beautiful collection of needlepoint tapestry.

Oh, how mom loved and adored her one and only granddaughter Mandy! Involved in her upbringing since she was a baby, mom loved deeply her memories of their swimming lessons, play dates and later in life “girl’s nights.” “She’s quite a gal,” she would say of Mandy and to her she would always tell her, “you can do anything you put your mind to.”

It’s already too quiet here without you, mom. We miss you. We love you. But we know you’ve been told “Well done, good and faithful servant,” (Matthew 25:21.) Until we meet again, mom…Give dad a big hug from us.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Nov 24th at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Pastor Jason Mincey, Hamilton Mill United Methodist Church, officiating.
