Douglas Cabot Price, age 73, of Rutledge, GA passed away Friday, November 16, 2018. He is preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Nolan Price; parents, Cabot Price and Grace Shelton, Price; brothers, David Price, Reuben Price and nephews, Jimmy Price and Bradley Wayne Price. Mr. Price is survived by his son, Robert Price, Toccoa, GA; daughter, Beth Price Braswell, Cumming, GA; grandchildren, Ashley Price, Jamie Braswell, Sgt. Rebecca Braswell, Joshua Price, Emma Braswell; great grandchildren, Kylie Price, Teagan Kraft, Mylee Price, Denie Price; sisters and brother-in-law, Geraldine and Bill Sosbee, Sugar Hill, GA, Barbara Price Williams, Chamblee, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Gaines and Ruth Jane Price, Buford, GA; sister-in-law, Betty Jo Price, Buford, GA and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Price as born August 15, 1945 in Buford, GA. He received his education from North Gwinnett High School. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving in Vietnam. He was a retired welder. Mr. Price was a member of the Level Creek United Methodist Church, Suwanee, GA and the American Legion Post 127, Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA with military honors. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19 at the funeral home.
