Annie Mae Barrett

Mrs. Annie Mae Barrett, 81, of Lula passed away November 15, 2018.

A Graveside service is scheduled for Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at High tower Church Cemetery in Dahlonega, GA. Rev. Scott McQueen will officiate the service. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Born September 14, 1937 in Dahlonega, GA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Bertha Rider. Mrs. Barrett was a homemaker her entire life. She is preceded in death by her brothers Lee Rider, Bud Rider, Robert Rider and Jonny Paul Rider, as well as her sister Cleate Roberts. 

Mrs. Barrett is survived by her husband of 41 years, Herman Lee Barrett of Lula, GA; daughter and son-in-law Kathy and Michael Gee of Pendergrass, GA; Son Coy Michael Sullens of Talmo, GA; granddaughter and husband Leighann and Dennis Cox of Pendergrass, GA; granddaughter Milissa Lee of Pendergrass, GA; grandson and wife Christopher and Wendy Looney of Gillsville, GA; grandson Terry Sullens of Atlanta, GA; grandson Matthew Sullens of Atlanta, GA; 8 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brothers Willie Rider, David Rider and Jerrell Rider; sisters Cona Rider, Susie Gee, Martha Villyard and Alice Rider; 4 stepchildren and their families; special friend, LaShanda Hudson as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.        

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made directly to Memorial Park for her services.
