Sue Ross Gainous

Mrs. Sue Ross Gainous, age 76 of N. Broad River Road, Eastanollee passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A son of the late Arthur Ernest Ross and Irene Masico Ross, she was born July 28, 1942 in Allentown, Pennsylvania having lived a greater part of her life in Stephens County. She was employed with Colonial Airloom for a number of years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Gainous, Sr. in 1991 and by a son, William A. Gainous, Jr. in 2005.

Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Ann Gainous of Eastanollee and Daniel and Marti Gainous of Pensacola, Florida; grandchildren, Jessica Mitchell, Chris McAnnon, Wayne Gainous, Jennifer Gainous and Madison Gainous; great-grandchildren, McKensie Blanchard, Noah Gainous, Sadie Blanchard, Ty Gainous and Eli Gainous; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Bill Nelson of Boca Raton, Florida.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 17, 2018, 11 O’clock a.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Mike Wilbanks officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Dale Payne, Daniel Shelton, Larry Stowe, Noah Gainous, Wayne Gainous and Chris McAnnon.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Interment will follow in the Carnes Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Sue Ross Gainous.
