Stuart Eugene Beck Jr., of Rabun Gap, Georgia, passed away on November 09, 2018.
Stuart was born the son of Stuart Eugene Beck Sr. and Melissa Short Beck on October 29, 1967 in Clayton, Georgia.
Stuart was a member of the Christian faith, and had seventeen years of perfect attendance at Sunday school at Clayton Baptist Church. In his professional life, he worked for the Department of Transportation, working in Rabun, Towns, and Habersham counties as well as working in the carpentry trade. He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid fan of the Rabun County Wildcat football team, as well as the Braves baseball team. He will always be remembered as a loving husband and father, who always believed that spending time with his children was the most important thing.
His survivors include his loving wife, Christi Patton Beck, of the Home; his parents, Stuart Beck Sr. and Melissa Short Beck; his son, Noah Beck; his daughter, Ivy Beck; his brother, Briton Beck.
The family will receive friends at the Beck Funeral Home on Wednesday November 14, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday November 15, 2018 at 11:00 am at the Clayton Church of God with Rev. Brian Alexander and Rev. Jim Carver officiating. Serving as his pallbearers will be Brison Beck, Jackson Webb, Shawn Lovell, Austin Jones, Dylan Kelly, Austin Sosbee.
A graveside service will follow the funeral at Wesley Memorial Cemetery in Rabun Gap, Georgia with Rev. Clay Patton officiating.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Stuart’s Memory to Beck Funeral Home to aid in funeral expenses.
