Mrs. Betty Jane Howe Miller, age 84, residing on Buena Vista Drive in Eastanollee, passed away Friday, November 9, 2018 at Pruitt Health of Toccoa.
A daughter of the late Floyd and Sallie Bryant Howe, she was born February 27, 1934 in Franklin County, Ga. and lived all of her life in Stephens County. Mrs. Miller was retired from Wright’s Manufacturing and was a member of Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Carnesville, Georgia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Guyton M. Miller and by brothers, James Howe, John Howe, and Bryant Howe and by a sister, Lois DeFoor.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Elaine Miller Turner and Roger Turner of Auburn, Ga., sons and daughter-in-law, Steve Miller of Eastanollee, Ga. and Randy and Sherry Miller of Toccoa, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and a sister, Frances Jay of Terrell, Texas.
Funeral services will be held Monday, November 12, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Hillcrest Chapel of The Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.
The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers, Micheal Carter, Kevin Powers, Clint Miller, Ryan Miller, Daniel Keener, and Bart Miller.
The family will be at their respective homes and will receive friends at The Acree-Davis Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. Sunday.
Interment will be in the Hopewell Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Carnesville, Ga
