Drenda Pierce

Ms. Drenda Pierce age 75 of Maysville, Ga passed away on Saturday November 03, 2018 following an extended illness.

Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday November 07, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Reverend Don Elrod will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday November 07, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. -2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Drenda was born on November 30, 1942 in Gainesville, Ga to the late Emory Lee Turpin and Willie Souther Turpin. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist Faith.  Drenda is preceded in death by her grandson, Christopher Purcell.

Ms. Pierce is survived by her daughter, Tina Johnson of Talmo, daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Tony Purcell of Homer, son, Dwayne Pierce of Maysville, grandson, Brent Purcell, grandson, Joshua Purcell, grandson, Shane Johnson, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA  30504 is in charge of arrangements.
