Mrs. Myra T. Sorrow, 86, of Big Canoe, passed away Friday November 2, 2018. Myra was born on March 11, 1932 in Jackson, GA., to the late Charlie and Opal Thompson.
In addition to her parents, Myra is predeceased by brothers, Adrian, Charles and Darrell Thompson and sister, Annette Thompson McWater, grandparents, Shaw and Eva Thompson, Boner and Gertrude Rutledge.
She is survived by her husband Walter Sorrow, daughters; Kimberly (Greg) Marx, and Stacie (fiancé Rob Windsor) Hardesty, grandchildren; Kevin and Justin Marx, and Wyatt Hardesty, great-grandchild; Melania Marx, sister; Rita (Doug) Thompson Scheidt, Brother-In-Law; Melvin (Eickie) Sorrow, nieces; Sim and Sene Sorrow, and Paige Scheidt DeBolt and Heather Scheidt.
The family would like to thank Bridge Way Hospice for their kind compassion and care for Myra this past week.
In lieu of flowers donations in Myra’s memory may be made to cancer research.
A homecoming celebration will be held Saturday November 10, at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. A reception will following at the funeral home after the service.
