Janet Samples

Janet Samples, age 88, of Flowery Branch, GA, passed away on Sunday, November 04, 2018 following an extended illness.

Janet Samples was born on May 29, 1930 to the late William Nelson Samples and Niece O’Bryant Samples.  She was a member at Friendship Baptist Church, in Austell, GA.

Survivors include sisters and brother-in-law’s, Barbara Giles of Douglasville, GA, Maxine Archer (Jack) of Gainesville, GA and Lydia Whiting (Joe Martin Brown) of Flowery Branch, GA.  Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Janet is preceded in death by her sisters, Vallieree Bryant, Johnnie Pittman and Pamela Gail Samples; brothers, Carrol Samples and Raymond Jearold Samples.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 6, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home, Gainesville, GA.  Rev. Joshua Adams will officiate.  Interment will follow in Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery, Gainesville, GA.  The family will receive friends on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 6:00-9:00 p.m.
