Lena Mae Abernathy

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ward’s Funeral Home for Lena Mae Abernathy, 78, of Gainesville. Rev. Mike Grizzle will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends
Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Abernathy passed away Wednesday, October 31, 2018.

A native of Hall County, Mrs. Abernathy was the daughter of the late Hubert L. and Fannie Mae (Albertson) Turner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred E. Abernathy; daughter, Debra Clark and several brothers and sisters.

Survivors include daughters and son law, Sue and Doug Garrett; son and daughter in law, Dean and Susan Sullens; grandchildren, Michael
Sullens, Amanda and Jamie Morris, Dean Garrett, Angela Garrett, Stephen Sullens and Emily Sullens; step grandchildren, Michael
Campbell, Melinda and John Hughes and Rachel Campbell; great grandchildren, Patricia Clark, T. J.  Clark and Kailee Misencik;
several nieces and nephews.
