Laura Jane Creamer Thompson, 93, of Cumming, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, October 31, 2018. Jane was devoted to her family and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, going to church, and sharing her love with others.
Jane was well known for her delicious homemade fried apple pies.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Cynthia Creamer; her loving husband, Calvin; grandson, Chris Thompson; siblings Sadie Orr, Betty Mauldin and Donald Creamer.
She leaves behind her son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Marie Thompson, daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Rev. Henry Wade; sister-in-law, Deanie Creamer; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 3, at 2:00 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Henry Wade, Rev. Doug Carnes, and Rev. Don Westray officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 12:00 to 2:00 and 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
