Amory Lynn Martin, age 46, passed away on October 29, 2018.
Amory was an electrician by trade, and worked for many years in the construction industry. Amory was very active in the Boy Scouts organization, and enjoying time in the outdoors with his sons. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and loving brother.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Paul Martin; his father, Eugene McCarthy; his mother, Blanche Ramey McCarthy; two brothers, Avery Vinson and Alvin Vinson; one brother in law, Raymond Baker.
His survivors include his loving wife, Bethany Martin; his three sons, Andrew Martin, of Clayton, Adam Martin (Mariah), of Mountain City, Tyler Martin, of Clayton; one daughter, Kayla Cross (Nathaniel), of Clayton; two brothers, Allen Vinson (Sandy), of Clayton, Archie Vinson, of Rabun Gap; two sisters, Aleta Baker, of Franklin; Angelia Taylor (Clint), of Clayton; two grandchildren, Sebastian Martin and Lorelai Cross; a number of nieces and nephews also survive him.
The family will receive friends on November 1, 2018 at the Beck Funeral Home from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday November 1, 2018 at Liberty Cemetery in Tiger, Georgia at 2:30 pm with Rev. Chuck Stutsman officiating.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Amory’s memory to Beck Funeral Home to aid in funeral expenses.
