Kenneth “Shorty” Roger Adams

Mr. Kenneth “Shorty” Roger Adams, age 77 of Herald Drive, Toccoa passed away Monday, October 29, 2018 at his residence.

A son of the late Grover and Jewell Ballenger Adams, he was born October 25, 1941 in Banks County, Georgia having lived most of his life in Stephens County. He was a retired marine mechanic.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Loutrell Chatham Adams; daughter, Melanie Adams of Carnesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Melissa Adams of Toccoa and Jeremy Adams of Carnesville; step-sons, Richard Smith and wife Brenda and Chris Smith both of Toccoa; brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Barbara Adams of Toccoa; sister and brother-in-law, Dinnie and Kendall Harper of Sandy Cross, Georgia; sister-in-law, Nena Adams of Martin.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
