Lydia Henderson Balls

Lydia Henderson Balls, age 83, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018. She was preceded in death by husband, Donald Eugene Balls. Mrs. Balls is survived by children, LaDonna and Richard Greiner, Springfield, MO, Shaurla and Bruce Mundell, Denham Springs, LA, Leisa Bazemore, Johns Creek, GA, Karen Melynda Wine, Mexico, Diedra Barrett, Illinois; ten grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and sisters, Maxine Henderson, Amy Longstreet, and Jeri (Mike) Shean. Mrs. Balls was born on April 5, 1935 in Noel, Missouri. She was a 1953 graduate of Noel High School in Noel. Mrs. Balls was a member of Oakwood Baptist Church, and she was a homemaker. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Evans officiating. The family will receive friends for one hour before the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Oakwood Baptist Church for Philippine School of Ministry “PSM” in memory of Lydia H. Balls.
