Julia Martha "Pauline" Deyton

Julia Martha “Pauline” Deyton, age 89, of Clarkesville, Georgia, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.

Mrs. Deyton was born on July 5, 1929, in Burnsville, North Carolina; a daughter of the late Earl and Ester Fox. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Wilson and Linda Fox. Mrs. Deyton retired from Clarkesville Mill with 30 plus years of loyal and dedicated service. After retirement, she turned all of her attention to her family, whom she loved dearly, and her flower gardens. She was a member of Hills Crossing Baptist Church.

Survivors include her loving husband of 69 years, Russell Deyton of Clarkesville; sons and daughters-in-law, Wade and Phyliss Deyton and Keith and Linda Deyton, all of Clarkesville; sister, Grace Fox of Burnsville, NC; brother, Dennis Fox of Burnsville, NC; and granddaughter, Katie Deyton of Clarkesville.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am on Friday, October 26, 2018, at Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel, Demorest, Georgia, with Rev. Kenneth McEntire officiating. Interment will follow in Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, October 25, 2018, at the funeral home.
