George Henry Sebastian

Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Mr. George Henry Sebastian, age 75, of Jefferson, who passed away on Monday, October 22, 2018. Mr. Sebastian was born in Escanaba, Michigan, a son to Dorothy McIntosh Sebastian of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and the late Oliver Duke Sebastian. Mr. Sebastian worked in Textile Construction and was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Vietnam War. Mr. Sebastian was a recipient of the Purple Heart. 

Survivors including his mother, are his wife, Tammy Sebastian of Jefferson, children, Glenn Sebastian and his wife April of Colbert, Kenneth Sebastian and Christy Zakroczynski of Winder, George Alvin Sebastian of Albertville, AL; brother, Terry Sebastian of Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan and sister, Mary Ellen Dillon of Detroit, Michigan; 12 Grandchildren and 17 Great Grandchildren also survive.

The Graveside Service will be held on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 11:30 AM in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, Georgia with military honors. The visitation will be held Thursday evening, October 25, 2018 from 5 – 8 PM at Evans Funeral Home.
