Deborah “Debbie” Gail Hirt

Mrs. Deborah “Debbie” Gail Hirt, age 66 of Gainesville, passed away on October 19, 2018 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel. Rev. Delma Simmons will officiate. Interment will follow at Timber Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David England officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00pm on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at the funeral home and from 12:00pm until funeral hour on Monday.

Debbie was born on February 6, 1952 in Gainesville, Georgia to the late Jacob E. “J.E.” Poole and the late Sylvia Buffington Poole. Debbie loved having family gatherings and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Along with her parents, J.E. and Sylvia Poole, Debbie was preceded in death by her husband Larry Hirt.

She is survived by her daughters Regina Turpin and Robin Allison; grandchildren Whitney Allison, Andrew Sosebee (Andrea), Richard Aaron Whidby, Lindsay Whidby, and Heather Wade (Jimmy); great grandchildren Hunter Eli Phillips, Hayden William Lovell, Landon Sosebee, Easton Whidby and Amelia Wade; siblings Frieda Simmons (Delma), Teresa England (Dwayne), Jeff Poole (Deborah), Lisa Seagars (Doug), Sherry Dunn and Kristi Perry (Skye); and a number of extended family members.
