Kerry Alan Ivester

Kerry Alan Ivester, 38, of Pendergrass passed away on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, at his home after a 3 ½ year battle with pancreatic cancer.

He was born on March 20, 1980 in Gainesville, GA where he lived most of his life. He was known for his contagious smile, positive attitude, and willingness to help others. He loved playing softball, attending UGA football and baseball games, traveling, and playing with his two dogs, Turner and Georgia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 19, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Drewery Loggins officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Mr. Ivester is survived by his wife of 5 years, Wendi Loggins Ivester; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Stephanie Ivester and niece, Katelyn; sister, Kelly Chapman and niece, Kelsie; father and step-mother, Gary and Louann Ivester; mother, Kathy Gee; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eric and Nancy Loggins; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Josh and Michelle Loggins, nephew and niece, Cohen and Chloe; brother-in-law, Peyt Loggins; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
