Paul L. Stowe

Mr. Paul L. Stowe, age 82 of Eastanollee Road, Eastanollee passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at his residence.

A son of the late Ralph B. and Coleus Hicks Stowe, he was born September 25, 1936 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life. He was retired from Gem Southeast and was a member of Tom’s Creek Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by triplets, Alvin, Calvin and Catherine and by brothers, Charles Stowe and John Terrel Stowe.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Frances Pitts Stowe; daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Hal Glaze of Eastanollee; three sons and daughter-in-law, Tim Stowe and Larry Stowe of Eastanollee and Barry and Brittney Stowe of Jenkinsburg, Georgia; three grandchildren, Jessica Stowe, Amber Stowe and Chloe Stowe; three great-grandchildren, Adrienne Fuller, Kinley Glaze and Lyric Williams; two sisters-in-law, Lois Honea Stowe of Toccoa and Sue Stowe of Eastanollee.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 20, 2018, 2 O’clock p.m. at Tom’s Creek Baptist Church with The Reverend Joe Haskett and The Reverend Wayne Marcus officiating. The follow gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Roy Stowe, Lewis Stowe, Jeff Bowen, James Payne, Dale Payne and Dustin Carson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Joe Hicks, Ron Hicks, David Herron, Brett Steele and Daniel Shelton and they should assemble at the church by 1:30 p.m.

The family will be at the home on Eastanollee Road and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Eastanollee Baptist Church Cemetery with The Reverend Roger Elrod officiating. Acree-Davis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Paul L. Stowe.
