Nancy "Inez" Martin Allison

Obituary Date: Friday, October 12, 2018

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Monday October 15, 2018 at Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel for Nancy “Inez” Martin Allison, age 89 of
Flowery Branch. The Rev. David McLendon and Rev. Harley Ingram will officiate. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Rev. Raymond Latty and Rev. Robert Belin officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Allison passed away Friday October 12, 2018.

Mrs. Allison was born in Hall County, GA on November 26, 1928. She retired from Southern Safety and was a member of Blackshear Baptist
Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. (C.F.) Allison, Jr., daughter, Diane Allison, father, John E. Martin, mother,
Myra Brooks Martin, brother, Curtis Martin, sister, Rachel Martin, brother, Wilburn Martin, brother, Nelvin Martin, brother, Ottis
Martin, brother, Robert Martin, sister, Frankie Smith, sister, Nell Patton, and brother, Winburn Martin.

Survivors include son, Randall Allison, Hoschton, daughter, Janet L.Allison, Flowery Branch, son, Donnie (Janice) Allison, Flowery Branch,
sisters, Hazel Martin, Carolyn Martin, Gaynelle Wheeler, all ofBraselton and brother, Harold Dean Martin, Braselton, 6 grandchildren,
10 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Faith and family were the most important things in her life.  She loved gardening, both flower gardens and vegetable gardens. She would
can and freeze vegetables every summer and family meals were most always homemade. She loved to sew and made much of the family's
clothing for many years. A woman of integrity, character, and strength. One of her favorite scriptures was Ecclesiastes 9:10
“Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might..."

The family wishes to express its deepest gratitude to several special individual caregivers, to Beehive Homes of Gainesville, and to Hospice
of NE Georgia Medical Center for the excellent care given over a period spanning 18 months.
