Brenda Skelton Franklin, age 66, of Jefferson, GA passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Lamar and Jennifer Johnson, Jefferson, GA; daughter, Melissa Johnson, Jefferson, GA; parents, Rev. Hoyt and Betty Skelton, Oakwood, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Terry and Martha Skelton, Oakwood, GA; sisters, Cheryl Radford, Oakwood, GA and Kathy Proto, Dawsonville, GA; four grandchildren, Cheyene Johnson, Dalton Johnson, Chastin Johnson and Andrew Thomas; two great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Ms. Franklin was born November 1, 1951 in Dacula, GA. She was a 1969 graduate of Dacula High School in Dacula, GA. She had worked for Scientific Atlanta for many years. She was of the Baptist Faith. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Hardy and Rev. Jerimy Johnson officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 9 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.P
