Danielle Banks, age 19, of Buford, GA passed away on Thursday, October 4, 2018. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edward A. Banks; great grandparents, Lillian and Martis Tyler, Sarles Mason, Virginia and Forrest Banks, Grace and William D. Curtis; and uncle, Neal Banks. She is survived by her parents, Eddy and Jodi Curtis Banks, Buford, GA; sister, Lilianna Banks, Buford, GA; maternal grandparents, Linda and Bill Curtis, Hoschton, GA; paternal grandmother, D’Vonne Marsh, St. James, FL; great grandmother, Jeane Mason, Riverdale, GA; aunts and uncles, Christina and Ted Gentry, Auburn, GA; Aimee and Justin Deen, and Holly Banks; cousins, Kaytlynn Banks, Matthew Banks, Hannah Deen, Liliah Deen, Reece Deen, Jack Gentry and Kate Gentry; and numerous other extended family. Miss Banks was born June 4, 1999 in Lawrenceville, GA. She was a 2018 graduate of Mill Creek High School and was a student of Georgia Gwinnett College. Also, she was employed with Regal Hamilton Mill Theatre. She had recently completed a Certification Course in Sign Language at the University of Georgia. During high school, she completed a course with the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Department Explorer’s Program. Danielle chose to be an organ donor that will bless six recipients. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Buford in Buford, GA. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Buford with Rev. Stephen Fountain and Rev. Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, October 8, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Flowers accepted or memorial donations may be made to the First Baptist Church of Buford College Ministry Fund in memory of Danielle Banks.
