It is with great sadness that the family of Kurt Fitzpatrick Fineis, 48 years of age, announces his passing on Thursday, October 4, 2018.
Kurt was a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He graduated from Crestwood High School and attended Georgia Southern University and Technical College of the Lowcountry. He participated in many volunteer activities such as Beaufort Water Search and Rescue, PALS Youth Soccer Coach, and Hall County Animal Shelter. Kurt’s greatest love in life was animals of all kinds. He was a passionate dog lover and is now dancing in Heaven with his beloved Maizy. He was an outdoorsman, and his favorite place was on the water. Kurt was an amazing man full of humor, always making people laugh and feel overjoyed with happiness. He had a warm heart and gentle soul.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine Fineis, his father and stepmother, John and Beverly Fineis, his sister Kendra and her husband Brian, his brother Kevin and his wife Alisa, and his favorites were his niece and nephews, Mary Katherine, TJ, Cash, and Isaiah.
A celebration of Kurt’s life will be celebrated on Saturday, November 10, at 2:00pm at 4625 Royal Lakes Drive, Flowery Branch, GA 30542
