Ruby Lee Patterson

Ruby Lee Patterson, 84, of Jackson, GA passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018.  Ruby retired from the Clayton County (GA) Police Department and then was the Secretary at High Falls Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Ewart Patterson, her daughter, Sandra Watson, and a number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughters, Patti Wallace of Cumming, Cheryl Bryant of Cumming; son, Chris (Sandra) Patterson of Thomaston; grandchildren, Janet (Leon) Upchurch, Tommy (Vicki) Jett, Dustin Wallace, Amber (Wes) Gravitt, Adam (Donna) McDonald, Brian (Britney Huffman) McDonald; great grandchildren, Amber Ayers, Emily Ayers, Adam Ayers, Emily Jett, Jason Upchurch, Cooper Wallace, Easton Wallace, Liam McDonald, Brock Gravitt, Colton Gravitt.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, September 30, at 2:00 p.m. at High Falls Baptist Church, Jackson, GA.  Mrs. Patterson will lie in state at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Chestnut Ridge Nursing and Rehab, 125 Samaritan Drive, Cumming, GA 30040.
