Roger J. Deems

Roger J. Deems, age 57, of Buford, GA passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018. He was preceded in death by his father, James Deems. Mr. Deems is survived by daughters, Jammie Deems, Carrollton, GA, and Delaney Deems, Buford, GA; mother, Shirley Ann Deems, Dallas, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Caroline and Tony Smith, Powder Springs, GA, and Debra and Steve Collins, Chatsworth, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Kathy Deems, Monroe, GA; aunt, Kathryn Weaver, Rockmart, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Deems was born on May 12, 1961 in Germany. He attended McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA, and he was a floor installer. Mr. Deems attended Buford Church of God. Graveside services will be held on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, 5979 New Bethany Rd, Buford, GA with Rev. Lamar Hansard officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 30 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
