Deborah Eloise McCarty

Deborah Eloise McCarty, age 59 of Cleveland, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018.

Mrs. McCarty was born on April 6, 1959, in Cumming, GA, to the late Norman and Ruth Callahan Gaines.  She worked for General Motors and was a member of Spirit Baptist Church.  Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, James Michael McCarty.

Survivors include her son, Derrick Wade McCarty, Cleveland; son, Michael Shane & Britany Cloe McCarty, Cleveland; sisters, Nancy Walden, Clermont, Brenda Braswell, Gainesville, Edna Jenkins, Dawsonville; grandchildren, August Sky McCarty and Lance Alexander McCarty, both of Cleveland.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12:00 Noon on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  The Rev. Darrell Lovell will officiate.  Interment will follow in Wilson Family Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home.
