James M. Johnson

James M. Johnson, age 49, of Buford, GA passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 after an extended illness.  He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry M. Johnson. He is survived by his mother; Eva Jean Johnson Reece of Buford, GA; sons, Kyle Johnson, Kevin Johnson, and Riley Johnson; granddaughter, Mia Johnson, all of Buford, GA; sisters, Anita (Brian) Hughes of Buford, GA, and Alesia Runkle of Buford, GA; uncles, Joe (Alice) Frady of Dawsonville, GA and Leroy Greenway of Norcross, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. Johnson was born November 30, 1968 in Buford, GA. He was a graduate of Buford High School, Class of 1986, in Buford, GA. He was the owner of Johnson Roofing Company in Buford, GA and was a member of Sugar Hill Baptist Church.  He enjoyed working on small engines and building cabinets in his free time.   Funeral services will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Sugar Hill Cemetery in Sugar Hill, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at 2:30 p.m.
