Barbara P. Cox

Barbara P. Cox, age 86 of Gainesville, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. Mrs. Cox was a loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Cox was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, Gainesville, Georgia, where she loved to sing in the choir. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents William and Iris (Heard) Parnelle; husband John Wood Cox, Sr.. She is survived by son John Cox, Jr., of Chamblee, Georgia; daughter Carole C. Beasley, of Gainesville, Georgia; sister Billie Cloninger, of Gainesville, Georgia; grandchildren and there spouses Barton Beasley; Israel and Jordan Beasley; Michelle Beasley; Barbara Brooke Pattillo; Joy and Christopher Jones; and 10 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 11 to 12 noon with a 12 noon memorial service at New Hope United Methodist Church, Gainesville, Georgia with Rev.
