Doris Presley Hunter, age 85, of Pendergrass, GA and formerly of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-two years, Doyle D. Hunter; son, Doyle D. Hunter, Jr.; parents, Claude and Ethel H. Presley; brother, Edward Presley; and sister, Louise Noblet. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Farion and Terry Hunter, Pendergrass, GA; grandchildren, Matt and Jennifer Hunter, Auburn, GA and Katie and Kraig Crawford, Jefferson, GA; four great grandchildren, Zoe Hunter, Mattie Hunter, Emma Crawford and Reid Crawford; sister, Claudine Presley Noblet, Hiawassee, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Rev. Farrell and Jean Presley, Buford, GA; brother-in-law, Henry Cline Noblet, Hiawassee, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mrs. Hunter was born December 24, 1932 in Cleveland, GA. She was a graduate of Towns County High School in Hiawassee, GA. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Hunter was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Tucker, GA. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2018 at 3:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Grant Wade officiating. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
