Yadu Bailey

YaDu Bailey, 9 ½ year old son of Jason & Stephanie Bailey, of Gainesville passed away while attending his first Atlanta Braves baseball game on September 15, 2018 due to the congenital chronic cardiac illnesses of Transposition of the Great Arteries, ASD, VSD, and Eisenmenger’s Syndrome. YaDu was adopted from China when he was 7 years old. In the 2 years he lived here, it was learned that YaDu had a bold and bright personality and an unconquerable spirit! He was happy-go-lucky, loved his family and friends, loved to make art, and give gifts to his family and friends. YaDu loved to talk and loved to have fun, fun, fun! He loved to watch TV, loved the Power Rangers (especially the Red Power Ranger), and playing his video game. YaDu was fascinated with Policemen. His dream was to be a Policeman when he grew up. Taken too soon, YaDu was loved and cared for by many and will be missed by many. 

Despite this corporal setback, YaDu will be going to Medical School at The Medical College of Georgia where he will help the medical students learn about Transposition of the Great Arteries, ASD, VSD, and Eisenmenger’s Syndrome through the donation of his affected organs. He loved to help people and his donation will help numerous medical students and children born with these congenital heart problems for generations to come.

There will be a Celebration of Life & Festive Send-Off on Saturday September 22 from 2:00-4:00pm at Memorial Park North Riverside Chapel, 989 Riverside Drive, Gainesville, GA 30501, 770-297-6200.  Come dressed as your favorite Power Ranger or as a Policeman to help YaDu celebrate one more time!
