Mrs. Irene Claire Coronato, resident of Toccoa, Georgia, went to be with her Lord at 82 years of age, at Habersham Retreat in Baldwin, Georgia on Wednesday, September 12, 2018

Irene Claire Lanzer was born August 26, 1936 in Huntington Station, New York to parents, Frank and Helen Lanzer. On July 27, 1957, Irene married her high school sweetheart, Robert Michael Coronato. Irene was a lover of God, her greatest passions being faith and family. An amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she gave unconditional love, serving and blessing her family and everyone who knew her. Joy and laughter filled her home. Irene demonstrated love and faithfulness, through good times and bad, pressing in to God and trusting His heart! She was a fighter. A prayer warrior, fighting for love, Irene had a photo album full of pictures of family and friends that she would pour over during her times of prayer, to guide her as she interceded for all of the people she loved. Co-owner of PTL Equipment, Irene and Bob traveled the world for business and to love and serve people through short-term missions. Irene had the voice of an angel, and loved to sing with her family and at church. Irene was a member of Encounter Church, formerly Glad Tidings Assembly of God in Toccoa where she and Bob joyfully served in many capacities. Irene is survived by the love of her life, Robert Michael Coronato, resident of Toccoa, GA, children, Cheryl Algieri with husband, Sam, of Toccoa, GA, Bobby (BJ) Coronato, of Toccoa, GA, Diana Kosch with husband, Steve, of Cartersville, GA, Cynthia Clarkin with husband, John, of Coventry, RI, David Coronato with wife, Lori, of Littleton, NH, and Victoria Mata with husband, Jon, of Cary, NC, twenty-one grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren, brothers, Ernest Lanzer with wife, June, and Bobby Lanzer with wife, Judy. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Lanzer, and mother, Helen Gutzeit Lanzer, sister, Terry Fonte, and brother, Casey Lanzer.

Funeral services will be Saturday, September 15, 2018, 4 O’clock p.m. at Encounter Church(formerly Glad Tidings) with The Reverend Mark Anthony and The Reverend Josh Garner officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences can be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
