Martha Diane Martin Gravitt

Martha Diane Martin Gravitt, age 73, and lifelong resident of Forsyth County, passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018. Diane was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Buell and Edith Mae Cain Martin; her husband, John Clinton Gravitt, Sr.; her brother, Donald Martin, Earl Martin, Charles (Buck) Martin, George Washington (GID) Martin; and her sister, Mary Alice Thomas & Laura Edna Martin; her nephew, Tim Martin.

Survivors include her son and daughter in law, John C. Gravitt, Jr. and Dame Eva Gravitt; her brother and sister in law, Rev. Robert and Shirley Martin; her two grandchildren, Savannah and Clint Gravitt; her nieces and nephew, Lois Ann, Shirley Jean, Earlene (Nene), Keith, Angie, Scarlett, Phyllis, Cindy, Stephanie, Sheila; and her sister-in-law, Zeliah Martin.

Diane worked for Gulf Oil Company and Sawnee EMC of Cumming.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 14^th at 10:00 am at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Danny Bennett and Ryan Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
