Quentin Roosevelt Reynolds, Jr. 80, of Gainesville passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at The Landings of Gainesville. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with Rev. Don Elrod officiating. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.

Born on February 28, 1938 in Gainesville, GA he was the son of the late Quentin Roosevelt Reynolds, Sr., and Maggie Smith Reynolds. After retiring from Johnson & Johnson (Chicopee), he ran an electrical contracting company until 2013. Mr. Reynolds was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Reynolds is preceded in death by his daughter, Vicki Lynn Reynolds.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife of 59 years, Johnnie Reynolds of Gainesville; sons and daughters in law, Chris and Judy Reynolds of Flowery Branch, Steve and Geralyn Reynolds of Flowery Branch; grandson, Jonathan Reynolds; grandson and wife, Justin and Jules Reynolds; sister, Shirley Loggins of Gainesville; sister and brother in law, Arizona and Bill Wall of Aztec, NM; brother and sister in law, Rogers and Verdina Reynolds of Gainesville and a number of nieces and nephews.
