Hazel Ann Chosewood Lewallen, age 81 of Baldwin, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018.
Born in Alto, Georgia on June 30, 1937 to the late William Thomas Chosewood and Ethel Mae Roper Chosewood. Mrs. Lewallen retired from Ethicon as an inspector with many years of service. She was a member of Line Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Morris George Lewallen; brothers, William Thomas Chosewood, Jr., Lamar “Bud” Chosewood and Raymond Chosewood; sisters, Pauline Ambrose, Ruby Evelyn Chosewood and Mildred Cleo Chosewood.
Surviving are her sons and daughter-in-law, George Nicholas and Crystal Lewallen of Mayesville, Morris Anthony “Tony” Lewallen of Demorest; daughter and son-in-law, Starr & Alex Aceves of Phoenix, Arizona; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Grady Eugene Chosewood of Cornelia; sister, Grace E. Chitwood of Atlanta; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 pm, Saturday, September 8, 2018 in the Chapel of McGahee-Griffin and Stewart. Interment will follow in the VFW Memorial Park Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
