Jerry Peppers

Mr. Jerry Lee Peppers, age 67, of Dahlonega passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018.

Jerry was born in Walton County on September 28, 1950 to the late James William Edward and Orene Phillips Peppers. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother Guy Peppers. Jerry was retired from the City of Dahlonega. He grew up attending Carter Hill Christian Church in Winder, GA.

Survivors include his companion of 30 years Patricia Dean, Dahlonega; children Kenneth and Brenda Gayton; Dewayne and Cathy Gayton; Malcolm and Sharon Gayton; and Sylvia and Terry Smith; sisters Faye Day and Diane Cronic; brothers Willie Joe Peppers, Ivey Peppers, James Peppers, Lawrence Peppers, and Charlie Peppers; sisters-in-law Barbara Burnett and Virginia Burnett; brother-in-law Lemuel Pruitt; eleven grandchildren, twenty one great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and one on the way.

Memorial services are scheduled for 5:00 PM Sunday, September 9, 2018 in the chapel of Banister Funeral Home. Reverend Wayne Burnett will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
