Jared Daniel Attaway

It is with great sadness that the family of Jared Daniel Attaway, age 27, of Dahlonega announces his passing on August 31, 2018.

Jared was born in Atlanta on November 28, 1990. He was a student at the University of North Georgia as a double major of Strategic Studies and the Russian Language. Jared was deeply loved by his family and community. He was a Beloved Ranger Buddy and a Mason and member of The Birmingham Lodge #44.

Survivors include his mother Christine Fabian, Leonard, MI; father Arthur Attaway, Dahlonega; sisters Heather Kiser, Alpharetta, and Ashley Born, Cumming; brothers James Irby, Leonard, MI, and Adam Attaway, Seattle, WA; uncle John Attaway, Atlanta; aunt Elaine Sims, Tucker; nieces and nephews Seth, Addison, Mackenzie, Liam, and Jude.

A celebration of Jared’s life is scheduled to begin at 5:00 PM Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Camp Merrill Ranger Camp. The Rev. Roger Pink will officiate.
